MINIVAN HAS SLIDING DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR FAILURE, DRIVER SIDE. UNABLE TO OPEN SLIDING DOOR MANUALLY OR WITH POWER DOOR MOTOR. LOCK/UNLOCK LATCH IS STUCK IN LOCKED POSITION. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE IN CASE OF VEHICLE CRASH OR FIRE. EXACT SAME ISSUE WITH OLDER MODELS. CHRYSLER HAS ISSUED A WARRANTY BULLETIN (D-21-15) FOR FACTORY REPAIR OF THIS SAME ISSUE FOR 2015-2017 MODELS. THE EXACT SAME ACTUATORS ARE USED IN 2018 AND 2019 MODELS.

The passenger side sliding door is locked into place the power actuator has gone out. An entry way is locked putting people in danger, one way in one way out for 5 rear passengers. The break calipers keep sticking and need to be replaced at least once per year. The stick and cause an awful black smoke. The last time they were replaced was almost a year ago to date.

The automatic transmission failed while driving, causing a loss of propulsion and leaving the vehicle stranded. This created a safety hazard because the vehicle could no longer accelerate or move out of traffic. This is the fourth Chrysler/Dodge vehicle I have owned that has experienced a substantially similar transmission failure.

The vehicle experienced a sudden transmission/powertrain failure while driving. The transmission began slipping, with engine RPM increasing but the vehicle failing to accelerate normally.
